Dr. Barker began his undergraduate studies at Southwest Texas State University and completed them at Eastern New Mexico University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also received a Loan Star scholarship and was named an outstanding senior biology student. Dr. Barker completed his medical education, internship, and general surgery residency at Texas Tech University School of Medicine.

Trained under Dr. Alan Wittgrove who pioneered Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and has 22 years of general and advanced laparoscopic surgery experience. Dr. Horrilleno is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of several local and national medical/surgical societies.

Eufrocino Martinez, M.D.
Dr. Martinez graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines in 1976 and began to work with weight-loss patients in 1979. In addition to being a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery and Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, he belongs to the International Federation for the Surgery of the Obese. He started New Reflections with Jana Hanson in 1998 and has operated on patients from across the United States and from Canada and the Philippines.

Andrew Hajduczek, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Hajduczek is a Board Certified F.A.C.S and an active member of So. California chapter of The American College of Surgeons, Los Angeles Surgical Society, S.A.G.E.S. and A.S.M.B.S. After assisting on over 2,500 bariatric operations and participating actively in peri & post-op patients care he shifted gradually his main interest into surgery for the management of obesity and related problems. He since gained extensive experience in all aspects of laparoscopic and open bariatric operations (including complex revisions) and performs them regularly as a mainstay of his practice.

Justin Braverman, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Justin Braverman, MD completed his surgical training at Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center in Chicago, where he served at Chief Resident in Surgery. Dr. Braverman is skilled in complex laparoscopic surgical techniques and minimally invasive bariatric surgery. He works closely with Dr. Brian Quebbemann in all phases of the weight loss clinic.
A member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Braverman earned both his master’s degree in science and his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences at The Chicago Medical School.

Francis W. Teng, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Teng, a board-certified General Surgeon (American Board of Surgery), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons (ASBS), is Chief of Surgery and Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at MountainView Hospital (HCA).
Dr. Teng completed his surgical residency at the renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He brought his compassion and advanced technology skills to Las Vegas in 1998. As a specialist in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, he has performed thousands of procedures.

Victoria Latifses, Ph.D. Victoria Latifses, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who graduated cum laude from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA with majors in psychology and Women's Studies. She received her Master's Degree and Doctor of Philosophy, both with honors, from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Dr. Latifses has received extra training and specializes in the following areas:
Addiction, Body Image Issues, Eating Disorders/Obesity/Dieting, PTSD, and Childhood Abuse.

E. Susan Scott, RN Susan Scott, RN has an extensive nursing and administrative background that consists of twenty years of ICU nursing and, recently, eight years specializing in bariatric surgery administration and patient care delivery. As a Bariatric Clinical Program Director, she provided training and facilitation that lead to the establishment of 38 Bariatric Surgical Centers across the nation. She has been dedicated to improving the quality of care delivery in bariatric programs by implementing nutritional education, pre op education, guidelines, and hospital / clinical protocols required to achieve recognition as a Center of Excellence (COE).
